through no fault of our own.

Terms and conditions

All prices exclude VAT at 17.5% where applicable. Our standard terms

and conditions apply, a copy of which is available on request.

All information supplied is correct at the time of printing. We reserve the

right to amend our prices or specifications without prior notice.

Insurance

You must have comprehensive insurance for the full duration of the hire.

Equipment will not be despatched without proof of cover. We can usually

arrange insurance for 10% of the gross hire value within Europe and 15%

outside Europe. All claims are subject to a £500 excess per item.

Are discounts offered?

Discounts are generally offered on a discretionary basis to trade clients,

education establishments and charities. Any discount offered is subject

to our stated terms and will normally be for equipment rental only.

How do I find dimensions?

Please call the hire desk and we will be delighted to answer your queries.

Our experienced staff will often have direct knowledge of our equipment.

Further information on many of the items in this brochure can also be

downloaded as PDFs from our website at www.pictureworks.co.uk

How is equipment maintained and updated?

Our AV equipment is some of the newest in the UK and is updated

regularly. Please consult our website or speak to the rental desk regarding

availability and pricing of new equipment. All equipment is checked prior

to despatch and is part of an ongoing maintenance program.

Do you sell AV equipment too?

The Picture Works Sales Ltd supplies top brand equipment at competitive

prices. Some items are featured in the sales section of our website but

most are by quotation only. Ex-rental equipment is also occasionally

available.

What if my AV requirement is complex and requires a site visit?

A site visit is strongly recommended for large-scale or complex

requirements. We will advise upon your plans and in many cases will be

able to suggest useful alternatives. A small fee may be charged for this.

Will I be charged rental whilst equipment is in transit or being set up?

As long as it doesn’t cause us problems we will not charge for delivery

time. Set-up time may be charged at a reduced rate.

Do you cater for international events?

Our facility in Wembley is just 20 minutes from London’s Heathrow airport,

so international events may be covered with ease. The Picture Works

has already worked in over 40 countries worldwide and our experience is

invaluable with regard to equipment suitability and local conditions.

Pricing is offered in Euros to assist European clients.

Do you make pictures?

Creative multimedia content is an essential part to any event so we offer an

integrated and impressive video production service. We do not frame pictures!
